NFB Mandated Pitching Guidelines:
8-11 year old Division
League Play:
If a player pitches in less than four (4) innings, one (1) calendar day of rest is mandatory.
If a player pitches in four (4) innings or more, three (3) calendar days of rest is mandatory.
Delivery of a single pitch constitutes having pitched one (1) inning.
For example:
If a player pitches in three (3) innings plus one (1) pitch = four (4) innings, three (3) calendar days of rest is mandatory.
A player may pitch in a maximum of six (6) innings in a calendar week (Monday though Sunday)
EXAMPLE
If a player pitched in four or more innings
on (Column A): and is still eligible, that
player can pitch again on (Column B):

* A player once removed as a pitcher may not pitch again in the same game

Tournament Play:
Rolling six (6) innings
Pitching limitations are 6 innings in two consecutive games,
With the following restrictions:
A player may not pitch in more than three (3) combined innings if pitching more than one (1) game on the same day.
A player may pitch two (2) innings or less, with no days rest required.
If a player pitches in three (3) innings, one calendar day of rest is required.
If a player pitches in four (4) innings or more, two (2) calendar days of rest are required.
A player may pitch in a maximum of seven (7) innings in a calendar week.
*Pitching Total of seven (7) innings applies to total for week during
Tournament play only. Regardless of where the player is pitching, Combined league and Tournament for the week cannot exceed seven (7) innings
*If a Tournament has stricter pitching rules, than those Tournament rules
Will prevail.
*In addition a pitcher should not exceed 35 pitches in an inning or
60 pitches in a game
12 year old Division
League Play:
If a player pitches in less than three (3) innings, no rest is required.
If a player pitches in three (3) innings, one (1) calendar day of rest is mandatory.
If a player pitches in four (4) innings or more, two (2) calendar days of rest is mandatory.
Delivery of a single pitch constitutes having pitched one (1) inning.
For example:
If a player pitches in three (3) innings plus one (1) pitch = four (4) innings, two (2) calendar days of rest is mandatory.

The International Board of Directors has approved the following rule changes beginning with the 2017 season. These changes will be reflected in the 2017 Babe Ruth League, Inc. Rules and Regulations.
- Cal Ripken Baseball, Babe Ruth 13-15 Baseball, and Babe Ruth 16-18 Baseball - Tournament Pitching Rules These pitch count limitations will apply to all tournament games played in District, Area, State, Regional and World Series competition and will completely replace Tournament Regulation Rule 11.05, Paragraph 4 (innings pitch). For the local league season, leagues are still permitted to use pitching limitations as defined in Rule 0.06 and under Local League Options – Pitch Count.
There are no limitations on the number of innings a pitcher may pitch in a tournament (bracket or pool play) game subject to the following pitch count limitations:

"Blue" Flight playing time rules:
District play - all players will play a minimum of 1 inning or one at bat per game
Jimmy Fund Tournament and all other tournament play - all players will play a minimum of 2 innings per game
Regular season/league play - all players will have equal playing time (coaches will keep a log for all players)
Regular season/league playoffs play - all players will play a minimum of 2 innings per game
